Debian Community Poll
I have prepared a poll for users of the Debian operating system at http://tinyurl.com/3y33ska. We had the idea for the poll during the preparation of the MiniDebConf that is currently taking place in Berlin. Please spread the link and fill out the form yourself. Visitors of the MiniDebConf have the option to fill out the form on paper.

In your list of Debian-derived distros, you should have included Maemo. :)
Maybe, but there are so many Debian derived distros...
A lot of people use the development releases. Should we not also ask something about SID?
I think it is not updated and robust enough for many technicians who are now preferring other distributions.
I know that the Debian project aims to achieve the best possible stable release, but the time is ripe for fast developing and packaging on time after upstreame release and (at least) installed without damage.
If this goal is difficult for reasons of design and support for many architectures, there is important work to do very specific (say that someone should pay for something too generic), but without it Debian is not the universal operating system and the most difficult to approach open source development.
Thanks for your work on Debian and for your attention.
And the results?
The poll is not time based. :) It will probably stay open for some weeks.
I would have loved to see a “time based but still when it's ready” choice, meaning eg a “about 2 years” release schedule with 18 months developping and 6 months running after the bugs.
The answer of "codename" should be lenny? It did not work for me. =/
